PS Certified Farmers Market

The Certified Farmers' Markets are sponsored by the Palm Springs Cultural Center. The markets operate in three locations; Palm Springs, Old Town La Quinta and Palm Desert. Palm Springs hosts every Saturday from 8AM to 12:30PM. From October to May, the market is located adjacent to the Camelot Theatres in the Palm Springs Mall parking lot, 2300 East Baristo Road. From June to September the market is held inside at the Palm Springs Pavilion, 401 S Pavilion Way.

Lines in the Sand explores the history of the desert through our relationship to the land, environment, and community. Focusing on the practices of artists, Lines in the Sand  juxtaposes the historical with the contemporary, revealing continued affinities and shared perspectives across time.

This exhibition is organized by Christine Giles, Curator, and David Evans Frantz, Associate Curator. Support is provided by the Mary Ingebrand-Pohlad Foundation and the Terra Foundation for American Art through Board Member Gloria Scoby. Exhibition Season Sponsors: David Kaplan & Glenn Ostergaard, Dorothy C. Meyerman, and the Herman & Faye Sarkowsky Charitable Foundation.
